Privacy Policy

DreamTrips.io helps adults plan and share trips. This Policy explains how Liat Chamma, 35 Almogan St, Modiin, Israel, 7170290 ("DreamTrips," "we," or "us"), handles personal information. For privacy questions or requests, email admin@dreamtrips.io.

You can browse parts of the website without giving us trip details. Providing information is voluntary, but we need relevant information to provide features you request, such as the waitlist or a trip plan.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide. This may include your waitlist email, messages you send us, and trip details you enter: destinations, dates, budget, party size, children's ages, transport and accommodation preferences, interests, dietary or Shabbat requirements, accessibility needs, and travel already booked. It may also include your language and display-currency preferences.

Trip content. We process the plans created from your inputs and any changes, decisions, or notes you add using available features. Please do not enter passport numbers, payment-card details, medical records, or other information the planning questions do not require.

Usage and technical information. We collect information such as pages visited, feature interactions, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser details, and error and security logs. We use analytics, including session recordings and heatmaps, to find errors and improve the experience. These tools may capture clicks, scrolling, and page interactions. We configure recordings to mask information entered into forms and personal trip details.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

  • respond to waitlist sign-ups and messages;
  • create, store, and improve trip plans;
  • provide available sharing and publishing features;
  • operate, secure, and debug the Service;
  • measure usage and improve the experience; and
  • meet legal obligations and address misuse or disputes.

Joining the waitlist does not subscribe you to marketing emails. We use your waitlist email for updates about DreamTrips' availability and your place on the waitlist. You can ask us to remove it by emailing admin@dreamtrips.io.

3. AI and service providers

When AI planning is available, relevant trip inputs may be sent to Anthropic, Google's Gemini, or OpenAI to generate a structured plan. The provider used may vary by request. We send the information needed to create the plan.

We also use providers to operate the Service, including Cloudflare for hosting and security, Supabase for data storage, PostHog EU for analytics, Resend for email delivery, and Google for place or route information where those features are available. These providers process information as needed for their roles.

We do not currently send trip details or personal information to third-party booking providers or affiliate partners. If we introduce booking links that pass details such as dates or party size, we will update this Policy before enabling them.

4. Shared and public plans

DreamTrips keeps personal information and private notes out of shared and public plan views. These views exclude names, contact details, booking references, private notes, and other identifying information collected for planning. They may show itinerary details, travel dates, destinations, and group details needed to understand the trip.

Where private sharing is available, a person with the link may forward it. Where public publishing is available, DreamTrips makes a public version of the itinerary available. Public plans may appear in search results and may be copied or shared by others. Email admin@dreamtrips.io if a plan appears to contain information that should be private.

5. Cookies and analytics

The Service uses technologies needed to operate and protect it. We also use analytics technologies, including PostHog, session recordings, and heatmaps, to understand how people use the Service and where they encounter problems.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Where applicable law requires consent for an optional technology, we will ask for it before using that technology.

6. Storage, security, and international processing

We use access controls and other reasonable measures to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Some service providers may process information outside Israel. We use applicable safeguards for international transfers. We keep information for as long as needed to provide the relevant feature, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the Service, then delete or de-identify it when it is no longer needed.

7. Children and other travellers

DreamTrips is intended for adults aged 18 or older. An adult planning a group trip may enter children's ages to make the plan suitable for the group. Please do not enter a child's name or other identifying details. If you provide information about another traveller, make sure you are permitted to do so.

8. Your choices and rights

You can ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, subject to applicable law. You may have additional rights under the privacy law that applies to you. Email admin@dreamtrips.io to make a request. We may need information to verify the request and locate the relevant trip, particularly because the Service does not use accounts.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this Policy as the Service changes. The revised Policy will show a new date, and we will provide additional notice where required.
